Archer Spade is the experimental chamber ensemble of trombonist Dan Blacksberg and guitarist Nick Millevoi. Since 2010, they have composed their own music and commissioned works from contemporary composers, creating a sound the Philadelphia City Paper described as “Cosmic Neo-Noir.” In 2015, they started the Spectrum Ensemble, a group of 25 Philadelphia-based musicians.
